Partnership

The articles are free, the diagrams are free, and the argument belongs to the church. Partnership is how it stays that way.

Here is where the money goes, plainly. Hosting and the domain, the time it takes to write and check the lectures, the diagrams, and the reading behind them. That's the whole list. There's no building, no staff, and no salary being drawn out of this.

What partnership buys is simple. It keeps the articles free to read, it keeps the course cheap enough that an ordinary person can take it, and it buys the hours to keep writing. I say this because a work like this usually ends one of two ways. It gets locked behind a paywall, or it quietly stops.

Four ways to stand with it

Give

Once, or monthly. Monthly is worth more than its size, because it's the only thing that makes the next year plannable.

Pray

This is not a polite line at the end of a list. The argument here asks congregations to look hard at their own form, and that work goes badly without it.

Host

Run a cohort, or a study of the material, where you live. This is how it spreads at all: ordinary people teaching it to the people already around them.

Build it

Read drafts and tell me where they're wrong. Send sources. Translate a lecture. Take on a piece of study the discipline needs and do it properly.

If you only do one of these, make it the second or the third.

Giving

Give once, or monthly if you would rather. Any amount helps and nothing here is behind a wall because of it.

Give once Give monthly

Card payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to them and never touch this site.

Giving here isn't a donation to a registered charity and it isn't tax deductible. Treat it as support for one man's work, because that's what it is.

How you would like to help

Nothing here is published. It comes to me by email.

What it pays for

Hosting and the domain. The hours to write, check and correct the lectures. The diagrams. The books behind the argument.

Not a building. Not a staff. Not a salary.

Rather argue than give?

That helps more than money does. Send a correction, a field report from your own congregation, or a source worth reading.

Questions and contributions

Take the course

Enrolling is itself a kind of partnership. It's eighteen weeks, self-paced or with a cohort.
